Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is an Indian television drama series on Star Plus that premiered on 5 October 2020 and produced under Cockcrow Entertainment and Shaika Films.[2][3] The series is a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Kusum Dola.[4] It stars Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma.[5]Plot[edit]
On a trip to Nashik, Nagpur-based IPS Officer Virat meets Paakhi. They develop romantic feelings but are unable to express them. As they bid adieu, Virat promises to call her. Virat gets posted to a village in Maharashtra, where he meets Police Officer Kamal and his studious but outgoing and short-tempered daughter, Sai. Virat misplaces Paakhi’s phone number, who feeling cheated, decides to move on, and incidentally is married to Virat’s brother, Samrat.
Virat confronts Paakhi and while the misunderstanding is cleared, Virat refuses to break up his brother’s marriage but promises Paakhi that he would never love another woman. When Samrat discovers their story, he quietly leaves his house not wanting to get between Virat and Paakhi.
Later, Kamal is shot by local goon Jagthap. Virat promises a dying Kamal that he would take care of Sai and marries her under social pressure. He tells Sai of his emotional commitment to Paakhi and Sai agrees not to expect him to fulfill the role of a husband. The filming of the series began in September 2020.[7] Mainly filmed at the sets in Mumbai, some initial sequences were shot at Nashik.[8]Release[edit]

Few weeks after premiere, in week 42 of 2020, it became fifth most watched Hindi GEC in urban with 5.3 million impressions and at sixth position overall with 8 million impressions.[12][13] The following week it garnered 5.21 million impressions in urban occupying fourth position and at sixth position with 7.6 million impressions overall.[14][15]Soundtrack[edit]
